ピアレビューの厳重な査読行程を経る事により、研究の質の保証がされ
、論文や記事本来の調査の質と調査結果の妥当性が格段に高くなります。
また、非常に詳細な主題と複雑な分析に関するオンライン情報データベ
ース(一次資料及び二次資料）の使用により数百万の記事を簡単に検索し
査読済み文献に限定し取得できます。
JAMA, NEJM, Lancet, BMJ, Nature , Science 等々の専門誌は、査読誌
の先達であり、厳格な批評のもと高い品質で我々国際学術出版界でも著
名です。
一方極めて詳細で複雑な分析は、記述統計や公衆衛生の基本的な測定値
などをシンプルに検索しているユーザーにはあまり関係がない場合があ
ります。
記事にアクセスするには、個々のジャーナルやプラットホームまたはデ
ータベースへのサブスクリプション契約が必要になる場合があります。
